WARNING . . .

Not All Tutoring Services are Created Equal or Effective!

Picture
Simply put, our tutoring sessions are successful because of several important distinctives.

One-on-One Instruction.
First, all our tutoring sessions follow the classical one-on-one instruction. There is overwhelming research to support the benefits of one-on-one tutoring in improving students’ grades, study skills, and confidence levels (Bloom, 1984; Slavin et al., 1991; Slavin, Karweit, & Madden, 1989; Wasik & Slavin, 1990; McArthur, Stasz, & Zmuidzinas, 1990; Hock, Schumaker, & Deshler, 1995; Lepper et al., 1997; Merrill et al., 1995; Simmons, Fuchs, Fuchs, Mathes & Hodge, 1995; Vadasy, Jenkins, Antil, Wayne, & O’Connor, 1997), and there are many situations in which private tutoring can be both beneficial and necessary.

No Hidden Fees or Extra Costs.
Secondly, with Inspired Learning there are no hidden fees or extra costs for you to pay for. All testing, assessments, teacher conferences or consultations are included in the one hourly session price. We believe that helping your child should not cost you a fortune.

Personalized Instruction, Not Individualized.
Thirdly, Inspired Learning sessions are not "individualized" as some tutoring services advertise. They are personalized meaning that the tutor or learning coach takes into consideration the learning style of the student being tutored.

Since every student has his or her unique learning style, personalized instruction adds to the success of our sessions. Below is short description of how personalized sessions are set up.

        •  Visual learners - sessions designed with pictures, videos and diagrams
        •  Auditory learners - sessions designed with more talking and discussion
        •  Tactile/ kinesthetic learners - sessions designed with more hands on
            activities
