High School
A Challenging Four YearsTwenty-first Century students face many challenges in his or her academic career in high school. Some of these academic challenges include the following:
1. Getting a good score on the ACT or SAT 2. Passing state assessments (LEAP and GEE) 3. Frustration with reading, writing, and grammar 4. Anxiety with the college admissions essay 5. Feeling completely lost in class These are real challenges that students face every day. The good news is that these challenges can be met head on. The key in being successful lies in preparation. Preparation means acquiring tools that will maximize a student's opportunity to succeed both personally and academically. Teaching strategies and tactics for success in academics goes hand in hand with teaching confidence, drive, and self-worth. To that end, IL tutors try to provide students with a personal tutoring experience that challenges them and inspires them. We take into account the individual learning abilities of students and use differentiated learning techniques to help them move beyond, and manage, their weaknesses. Though we can't guarantee anyone's personal gain, we can guarantee that we will give each student the best possible preparation. We will do the best we can to give students the tools necessary to be successful. Mathematics
Homework Support IL tutors can also help students with their homework from school. |
